This Saturday, May 11, the Shredding Day will be held, carried out in collaboration with the Caisse Desjardins de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, the Sûreté du Québec of the MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges and the Iron Mountain company. Citizens of the region and non-profit organizations will be able to take advantage of this service free of charge, allowing documents containing sensitive information to be securely destroyed.

Three collection locations will be made available to the population: the Coteau-du-Lac Service Center, the L’Île-Perrot Service Center and the Saint-Charles Service Center, in Vaudreuil-Dorion
Note that during these 4 hours of operation, each collection site will be equipped with an Iron Mountain shredder truck which will ensure complete elimination of documents: bank statements, personal identity documents, invoices, payment statements. credit card, etc.

Please note that expired digital media will also be accepted. These include: USB keys, small external hard drives, optical discs (CDs and DVDs), cell phones. A secure recovery box will allow these items to be deposited so that they can be recycled at the factory. Please note that it is however important to first erase the data contained in these articles in order to maximize security.
