Marine Le Pen on the ground to defend Jordan Bardella’s list and continue the RN’s anti-Macron campaign
Discreet until recently in this campaign for the European elections, Marine Le Pen is traveling on Thursday to Bergères (Aube) to defend the list of the National Rally (RN), carried by Jordan Bardella. Currently well ahead in the polls, the party wants to make the European elections an anti-Macron referendum.
Attacking the presidential camp, Marine Le Pen judged Emmanuel Macron’s European record “deplorable”while the entire government is mobilized that same day on the ground to try to breathe new life into Valérie Hayer’s campaign and to defend the president’s European record for seven years.
The leader of the RN deputies affirmed that she did not “afraid of nothing and even less, once again, of macronia”. “They don’t want to talk about Europe. They talk about everything, they create controversies which are ridiculous controversies, they go on subjects which have absolutely nothing to do with Europe, as if precisely they had enormous difficulty, and I understand them, to defend their European assessment »she said, at the microphone of BFM-TV.
Largely ahead of the RN list and closely followed by that of the PS-Place publique in the polls, the presidential camp tried to breathe new life into its campaign for the European elections, during a meeting organized at the House of the Mutualité, in Paris, Tuesday. Like Emmanuel Macron in recent weeks, Gabriel Attal who went to the front has made the RN his main target, believing that the party wants to be outside the EU without really taking responsibility for it anymore, accusing it of now move forward with “a hidden project”that of “anonymous europhobes”.
