Mamadou Seck is on trial by the Eure-et-Loir Assize Court, from Thursday October 10, for the murder of his wife, in 2021, in Chartres. Presumed innocent, he denied being the author of this homicide of May 4, 2021, notably during two reconstructions. Two other cases will be judged during this session, which begins this Monday, October 7 and continues until October 18.
The three-week-old infant no longer has a mother and his father, incarcerated for three years, will be tried in Chartres, for five days, for murder of a spouse. On the night of May 3 to 4, 2021, his wife was found dead in the basement of their building, avenue François-Mitterrand, in Chartres.
The husband, Mamadou Seck, a former waiter, 28 years old at the time, had declared to a Samu agent, during a recorded conversation, that a man had just attacked his wife, since he had been assaulted and knocked unconscious. .

According to his statements, that night, he was watching television, and his wife, 26 years old, an employee at CAF, had gone down to the underground garage to retrieve a file from her car. Worried by the length of his partner’s absence, Mamadou Seck went looking for her and, he explained, found himself face to face with his wife’s attacker, who then fled.
A version contested by the investigation, the use of video surveillance revealing no entry or exit from the building. The police found no trace of any DNA other than that of the accused on the victim. The motive remains a mystery. The civil parties are represented by Me Xavier Torre.
