Hakim Ziyech is set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, with Galatasaray deciding to make his loan move permanent.

The Chelsea player joined Galatasaray last summer on a season-long loan and, after a successful spell in Turkey, the Super Lig club have reportedly decided to make his move permanent by triggering an obligation clause of purchase in the player’s contract, according to The Standard.

Despite numerous injuries, the Moroccan international managed to be consistent every time he had the opportunity. The 31-year-old has appeared in 21 matches in all competitions, in which he scored eight times and provided four assists.

A failed transfer to PSG

The former Ajax player was out of favor during Graham Potter’s spell at Stamford Bridge in the 2022/23 season and was set to join Paris Saint-Germain in January 2023, but the The deal collapsed at the last moment.

The striker’s next match will be on Sunday, when Okan Buruk’s team will face Fatih Karabukruk in an away league match.
