La Ferté-Saint-Aubin. A compromised Spring Festival but… SAVED!. On Sunday, despite very uncertain weather, around fifty exhibitors out of the 120 registered were there for the Spring Festival. The visitors, who came in large numbers, wandered the aisles of the garage sales all day long and took advantage of the activities offered by associations: purchasing fruit and vegetable plants from Jardin et vie or Aipes, training in the gestures of relief with civil protection, meeting with a 2CV named Deuchie, which works for sick or disabled children, or even with the scouts.
The volunteers of the festival committee were able to cater to a large number of visitors and exhibitors before they took advantage of the pancakes sold by Tel est ton combat. Finally, the Jazz 45 quartet provided musical entertainment and the funfair delighted everyone.
Mayor Constance de Pélichy thanked all the volunteers for the organization and welcome, in conjunction with the municipality, as well as the exhibitors for their presence. Romain Chambreau-Chauveau, president of the committee, also praised the loyalty of the associations and the newcomers like Miss Harmony.
