No more stickers in the boxes!
Indeed, the Californian firm has just put an end to a historic tradition: Apple stickers! In a memo distributed to Apple Store teams, Cupertino explained that stickers will not be included in the box with the iPad Pro M4 and iPad Air 6.
The reason would be due to compliance with its environmental objectives. For several years, the firm has been striving to remove any superfluous or plastic elements from its packaging. Which now includes small apples!
Plan B
For collectors, no worries – or almost nothing – since Apple has planned a plan B. Indeed, physical stores should receive a -limited- quantity of stickers which can be distributed to customers purchasing one of the new 2024 tablets.
However, you will have to remember to ask for it because it will not be automatically put in the recyclable paper bag. However, there are no plans to obtain them from other resellers such as Amazon (what about the APR?). Or wait to see it appear a small lot or two on eBay…
