Thanks to an excellent Davy Roef, La Gantoise obtained the point of the draw (1-1) Sunday on the pitch of Saint-Trond, at the end of the 10th day of the Jupiler Pro League. Omri Gandelman (25th) for the Buffalos and Adriano Bertaccini (68th) for the STVV scored.

In the standings, Ghent regains its place on the podium in Anderlecht. Both teams have 17 points, two less than Antwerp and five less than Genk, first. The first period was rich in opportunities. From the 6th minute, Bertaccini went alone on goal but came up against Roef. The Trudonnaire striker created two other chances by crossing a shot to the left (15th) then from a free kick (18th) but Roef intervened each time (15th). Gantoise finally surprised STVV and opened the scoring thanks to Gandelman, who took advantage of a deflection from Tsuyoshi Watanabe on a free kick to score with a header (25th). Kahveh Zahiroleslam missed another opportunity for Saint-Trond, found alone in front of the empty goal: his recovery went over (30th). At the end of the period, Franck Surdez missed the Ghent break point, shooting over the bar in a face-to-face with Leo Kokubo (41st).

Returning from the locker room, the Trudonnaires continued to attack and Zahiroleslam (52nd) then Ryotaro Ito (57th) forced Roef to make two new interventions. The Buffalo goalkeeper also stopped a long shot from Bruno Godeau but put the ball back into the feet of Bertaccini who had followed well and equalized in the empty goal (68th). Both teams continued to attack but there were fewer clear chances. In a last effort, Billal Brahimi made the difference on the left but Roef won again (90th + 4) to preserve the result.
