Michel Leeb is a proud dad, and he lets anyone who will listen know it! Seated alongside Cœur de Pirate, Clovis Cornillac and Frédéric Lopez for the show “A Sunday in the Country”, the 77-year-old comedian indulged in a shower of compliments on his son, Tom. “He is an actor, a singer, he plays in the theater, he plays in the cinema, and he composes songs, and he is on all the networks, and he works really well…” lists the actor, visibly admiring the career of the only boy of his three children.
A career of which Frédéric Lopez is also clearly aware since he notes that before “we used to say ‘he’s Michel’s son’ and now we say ‘he’s Tom’s father’”. Michel Leeb cuts it short, and admits: “He’s the only guy I’m really in love with. To see him succeed like that, and to see him play in a theater opposite mine, it’s even overwhelming… It’s touching”. A fatherly love that warms the heart.

This is not the first time that Michel Leeb speaks about the qualities of his son. In January 2023, in our columns, the comedian proudly admitted: “He’s me…and so much better!” A sincere declaration of love which was very similar to the one declaimed in the charming house in “A Sunday in the Country”: “He is 32 years old, so he is unbearably ahead of me (Laughs.) He is very attractive, both an actor, a singer, a humorist. He plays the guitar very well and composes. He lived in New York for five years, so he speaks American better than an American… he’s the only man I’m in love with!”
