A photo is worth a thousand words. Wednesday May 1, Laurence Auzière was in China. A journey rich in discoveries that Brigitte Macron’s eldest daughter did not make alone since she was accompanied by Matthieu Grafensttaden – with whom she has been in a civil partnership since February 2023 –. Passionate about art, the mother of Emma, Alice and Thomas (born from her previous relationship with Guillaume Jourdan) not only visited numerous museums during her stay but also took the time to capture tender souvenir photos.
Indeed, during her visit to one of the Chinese museums, Laurence Auzière took the time to take an adorable photograph alongside her companion. In this photo, we can notably discover that Brigitte Macron’s daughter and her companion had obviously thought carefully about their respective outfits since they had both opted for red and black looks. A seemingly small detail but one that shows how much they are still in love.

Laurence Auzière: how did she meet Matthieu?
To everyone’s surprise, in December 2022, Laurence Auzière revealed for the very first time a photograph of Matthieu Graffensttaden. A man who was far from being a stranger in her eyes since she met him during a ski trip when she was 16 years old. A few months earlier, in April 2022, the couple appeared publicly together – for the first time – during the only meeting of Emmanuel Macron’s presidential campaign. But at the time, we still didn’t know what the type of their relationship was. Since the officialization of their romance, the two lovers no longer hide and happily display, on social networks, photos in which they appear more complicit than ever.
