This year, among the new features of Eurovisiona new voice slips into the French presenters of the famous European song competition.

Stéphane Bern and Laurence Boccolini at the helm, it was already a winning duo. So if we add Nicky Doll, it can only spark! Most French drag queens comments on the two semi-finals of Eurovision 2024, this Tuesday May 7 and Thursday May 9, 2024.

Fans of Drag Race France and the queer community already know her. Here is what you need to know about Nicky Doll.

The only Frenchwoman to have participated in RuPaul’s Drag Race

As much the show Drag Race France is just settling in with us (season 3 will begin at the end of May), as well as its “mother” show RuPaul’s Drag Race is a true institution in the United States.

16 seasons, more than 200 episodes: the reality TV show has a huge influence on the representation of the queer world on television. Headed by the now world-famous drag queen RuPaul. The latter even has her own star on the famous Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, since 2018. That shows if she is a real star!

A phenomenon on the American small screen for more than a decade, RuPaul’s Drag Race is a competition during which more than ten candidates compete. At the end, as in Koh Lantathere will only be one left – America’s best drag queen.

In 2020, season 12 of RuPaul’s Drag Race sees disembark for the first time a French drag queen. Baseball bat, short electric blue hair, faux leather bodysuit and thigh-high boots… Nicky Doll, 28, has a stunning entrance in store for her 12 competitors.
