Who will succeed Innov & Sea? Applications for the Entrepreneurship in Research prize from the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur are open until June 30.
As part of its research support policy and its commitment to “highlight the excellence of Riviera research in the field of entrepreneurship and make it known to the general public“, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis launched a new edition of the Entrepreneurship in Research prize. A competition which in 2023 rewarded the startup Innov & Sea with the Innovative Company prize but also Mauvaise Herbe, Paperock, Rock Sensation which had won the My entrepreneurial project prizes.
This edition will reward impact projects linked to the climate, human health and the environment in two categories: the Innovative Company prize, awarded to a company “model on the metropolitan territory, which draws its know-how from public research or in collaboration with research” who will win 4,000 euros. Three student-entrepreneurs will also be distinguished by My Entrepreneurial Project prizes and an endowment of 2,000 euros for “supporting the entrepreneurial spirit in the metropolis’ sectors of excellence“.
The call for applications is open from May 2 to June 30, 2024. The awards ceremony will take place on November 21 from 5 p.m.
