Four fighters were killed yesterday (Sunday) following the bombing of Kerem Shalom. The dead: Sgt. Ido Testa (19, Jerusalem), Sgt. Reuven Mark Mordechai Assouline (19, Ra’anana) and Sgt. Tal Shavit (21, Kfar Giladi) and Michael Ruzal, 18, from Rishon Lezion.
Reuven Mark Mordechai Assouline
19 years old, originally from Ra’anana, fighter of the Shaked battalion, Givati brigade . He is survived by his parents, a sister and two brothers. His family immigrated to France around ten years ago. He will be buried tomorrow at the Klausner Street Military Cemetery in the city. Reuven’s cousin Dana said through tears: “Reuven was a Zionist. He immigrated from France. He truly wanted to serve in his heart. He was an extraordinary boy, a good boy. He wanted the power of time to create a good, happy, smiling atmosphere. The whole family immigrated from France in 2014 through Zionism. He always took care of his little brother. He was an extraordinary brother.

Ido Testa
19 years old, from Jerusalem, fighter of the Shaked Regiment, Givati Brigade. He lived in the Har Homa district. Tal Shavit
21 years old, originally from Kfar Giladi, fighter of battalion 931, Nahal brigade. The mourning notice in the kibbutz read: “Heartbroken. Members and members of the Kibbutz Kfar Giladi community announce with great sadness the death of Tal Shavit, a fighter from Battalion 931 of the Nahal Brigade, during an operational activity in Kerem Shalom on the Gaza Border.
