ATP ranking: Andrey Rublev moves to 6th in the world, Félix Auger-Aliassime ejects Adrian Mannarino from the Top 20

His return to the forefront is also effective in the ranking. Thanks to his success on Sunday in the final of the Masters 1000 in Madrid, Russian Andrey Rublev reached sixth place in the world in the ATP rankings published on Monday, still dominated by Novak Djokovic. The Serbian now leads the Italian Janik Sinner by 1,130 points and the Spaniard Carlos Alvaraz by 2,645, two rivals who have already withdrawn from another Masters 1000, that of Rome, which begins on Wednesday, less three weeks of Roland-Garros.

Rublev’s progress comes at the expense of the Norwegian Casper Ruud, 7th, and the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, 8th, who both fell one place. On the French side, Ugo Humbert is 15th, overtaken by the American Ben Shelton. And Adrian Mannarino, 21st, is chased out of the Top 20 by the Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime, who jumps 15 places. The latter had not been among the 20 best players in the world since the beginning of November 2023, six months ago. Gaël Monfils, 37, moved up two places, to 38th in the world.
