Donald Trump, here at the Manhattan criminal court, on Saturday May 4 compared the administration of Joe Biden to the “Gestapo” of Nazi Germany.
UNITED STATES – One more slip-up. Donald Trump, former American president targeted by four separate criminal proceedings, on Saturday May 4 compared the administration of Joe Biden to the “Gestapo”the political police of Nazi Germany, report several American media including the New York Times and the Washington Post. Words which did not fail to provoke a strong reaction from the White House.
In front of an audience of Republican executives and donors, gathered at his Mar-a-Lago property in Palm Beach, Florida, Donald Trump also accused Biden’s teams of exploiting justice, according to an audio recording obtained by the New York Times.

The White House and Joe Biden’s campaign team were quick to react. “In contrast to echoing the appalling rhetoric of fascists, lunching with neo-Nazis, and fueling debunked conspiracy theories that have cost the lives of brave police officers, President Biden is rallying the American people around our common democratic values and the rule of law »said Andrew Bates, White House spokesperson.
Joe Biden’s campaign team had previously criticized the Republican candidate’s tirades in a press release: “Trump’s campaign is all about him, his fury, his revenge and his lies”.
Before this baseless comparison, the Republican candidate for the November presidential election criticized that the various indictments against him in several states were orchestrated by the White House. For months, he has been denouncing ” witch hunt “ hatched by the Democratic administration to eliminate him from the presidential race.
In his speech at Mar-a-Lago, Trump also repeatedly complained about the criminal trial in Manhattan, which he returns to on Monday. He is being prosecuted for 34 falsifications of accounting documents which allegedly served to conceal a payment of $130,000 to former porn star Stormy Daniels, to buy her silence about a sexual relationship she claimed to have had with him in 2006. The White House has denied any involvement in the ongoing legal proceedings.
