This Monday, May 6, an accident took place on the A7 motorway near Orgon, between a heavy goods vehicle and a pick-up transporting beehives. Vinci Autoroute indicates that traffic is interrupted and it is obligatory to exit and prohibited from entering the portion near Sénas (exit no. 26).

This Monday, May 6 marks the end of the holidays and the return of traffic jams. Since 7 a.m., traffic on the A7, towards Lyon near Orgon (Vaucluse), has been interrupted after an accident between a pick-up and a heavy goods vehicle. Vinci Autoroute indicates that beehives have fallen on the roadway.

Vinci patrol officers are on site to ensure the safety of motorists. Beekeepers were also called in to help, and it is recommended to drive with the vehicle windows closed. Firefighters are also on site to treat the victims involved and traffic has been stopped.

It is obligatory to leave the portion at Sénas, exit 26 and entry is prohibited. The accident caused a traffic jam of several kilometers. On the other hand, in the other direction, traffic is normal and the highway is not cut. Four people were slightly injured in this accident and were treated by firefighters.
