This Thursday, October 3, a fire broke out in the bar located on the ground floor of the Nations shopping center in Vandoeuvre-les-Nancy. Firefighters from the Vandoeuvre and Gentilly barracks intervened from 3 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
When they arrived, the fire was already extinguished thanks to the building’s sprinkler system. There Fifteen firefighters were mobilized to dry up the water spilled on the ground, which reached around ten centimeters high.
On site, our team noticed this Thursday morning that a window had been broken, suggesting that an incendiary device had been thrown inside the bar. Part of the establishment’s furniture was burned.
A police investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances of this incident.
