While gas prices increased on May 1, some Engie customers will soon experience a new price increase. As explained by Voix du Nord, several readers reported to the Nord-Pas-de-Calais daily that they had received a letter from the energy supplier in recent weeks.

It is stipulated that for subscribers to the Passerelle offer, the price of gas will increase on July 1 by 9.65% “in order to integrate the increase in transport costs”. A decision validated in advance by the Energy Regulatory Commission.

+20.24% on subscription

But what undoubtedly makes Engie customers cringe is that in the same letter, the company explains that at the same time, the price of the subscription will increase by 20.24%, i.e. a additional cost of 41.24 euros.

In its information letter, Engie specifies that anyone can terminate their Passerelle contract “at any time and free of charge”. If you are in this situation, here is the page where you can find all the information on how to request termination.
