The naked body of a 40-year-old woman was found at her home in Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis). A neighbor reportedly heard screams similar to an attack.
The Bobigny public prosecutor’s office opened a murder investigation this Wednesday, October 2, after the discovery in Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis) of a 40-year-old woman dead in her home, he told AFP.
“A woman born in March 1984 was found dead at her home in Aubervilliers after a friend was worried about not having news of her,” said the prosecution.
Woman’s screams heard by a neighbor
According to a police source, the victim was found naked in her bedroom on Tuesday evening. She showed signs of strangulation and strong blows to the head.
Police officers showed up at this address late Tuesday afternoon, called by a neighbor reporting screams of a woman being attacked, but left without finding a victim, according to the police source.
No arrests took place at this stage, the prosecution reported. The investigation is entrusted to the criminal brigade of the Paris judicial police.
