A “bike” day is organized on Sunday May 5 and the organizers are hoping that the weather will be good. Two very distinct themes come together in the end for the love of the “little queen” and around a place.
On the one hand, the place of learning and former botanical garden, the P’tit Vélodrome, will celebrate its three years of existence, a very popular place which has found its audience. From 8:30 a.m. this Sunday, the P’tit Vélodrome Gimontois will be celebrating during a great sporting, friendly and popular day. Activities will be on the program: merry-go-round and pedal karting, organized races, entertainers, pony rides with the Charlas stables (fee), as well as on-site catering (16 euros for adults; 5 euros for children under 12 years old; vegetarian dish possible upon reservation, at 07.81.68.09.70).
On the other hand, the “Rando gimontoise”, following in the footsteps of the legendary Maxi Verte event, will be organized by the ES Gimont cyclo. Several routes depending on the level will be offered, with different levels of elevation, but also several themes and for all tastes: cycle touring, 32 km, 67 km and 80 km; Mountain biking, 20 km, 36 km, 44 km and 54 km; departures between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. depending on the route. Price: 3 euros for licensees; 5 euros for non-licensees.
