Geert Van Rampelberg (49) surprised friend and foe on Wednesday morning with his debut as a charming singer. Not a real career change, but a warm-up for his new film ‘Young hearts’.
Anthony Schatteman’s directorial debut will be released in cinemas on December 18, but has already received good reviews at foreign film festivals in recent months. The leading roles are reserved for debutants Lou Goossens and Marius De Saeger, but as charming singer Luk Montero, Geert Van Rampelberg plays an important supporting role.
As a promotional stunt, Van Rampelberg, with apologies, released Luk Montero’s debut single on Wednesday morning The first love on Radio 2. Young hearts tells the story of Elias, a fourteen-year-old boy who is attracted to his new neighbor Alexander. It’s the first time he’s been in love and he doesn’t know how to deal with these feelings.
