What will happen if Donald Trump wins the presidential election?

HAS six months before the presidential election in the United States, the question arises: what would a second term for Donald Trump look like? The American magazine Timeto whom the former President of the United States has granted two interviews, titles his latest issue: If he wins, understand: “if he wins”. In the columns of the magazine, no program strictly speaking, but some ideas.

Donald Trump plans in particular to deport all migrants, to set up the biggest operation in history, because, he says, “they are all criminals or people who have just come out of psychiatric hospitals”. To do this, he is therefore not opposed to large migrant camps monitored by the army.

The former US president also wants impose tariffs on everything entering the United States : 10% on what arrives from Europe, 60% on China and even 100% on India. The journalist replies that this will increase prices in the United States and therefore inflation. “No, I don’t think so,” he replies.

Approximation, always, on abortion: he reminds dozens of times that it is up to the States to decide on a case-by-case basis, but he is not against the fact that these States can monitor women’s pregnancies to ensure that they do not have illegal abortions. Through this interview, Donald Trump is not addressing his voters, because they are not readers of the Time. This interview should especially serve Joe Biden’s camp as it presents a series of approximations, fake news and unverified facts.
