Saturday May 4 and Sunday May 5, 2024, VCB-Vire will be on hot coals to organize the Prix des jumelages (or 2 days of Vire), a race which will be contested in three steps around Vire (). Here is in detail where the three races take place.

At least 140 runners lined up

This year, we are full of teams; many came forward before entries opened, with 10 teams on the waiting list. Mid Devon Cycling will cross the Channel again, Baunatal (All) has been invited, but cannot make the trip. On the other hand, we had the candidacy of a Dutch team, the Régio Team Midden, which will be made up of young people. There are six teams from clubs: Cycliste Olympique (National 1) / ES Torigni, US Ste Austreberthe, CS Moyon (National 2) / VC Avranches and Team Elite Orga US St Herblain (National 3).

The peloton will see no less than 15 departments represented. “With a platoon at least 140 runners, I think there will be some great battles over the three stages. The last one, between Landelles and Vire, is not easy in the final part. The succession of Raphaël Hector (UC Tilly Val de Seulles) looks uncertain. »
