The family of Matisse, this teenager from Châteauroux who died after being stabbed on Saturday April 27, is organizing a white march this Saturday May 4, at 3:30 p.m.
The meeting is held this Saturday, May 4, at 3:30 p.m., Place La Fayette, in Châteauroux (Indre) by the family of Matisse who wishes to pay tribute to this 15-year-old teenager who died after receiving stab wounds, the Saturday April 27, in the Saint-Denis district.
“The family invites all participants to show respect throughout the route so that the walk takes place in a peaceful and united spirit,” specifies Châteauroux Métropole in a Facebook post announcing the walk.
Several stab wounds including one in the heart
Matisse died after receiving several stab wounds, including a fatal one in the heart. A 15-year-old teenager, suspected of being the perpetrator, and his 37-year-old mother were indicted this Monday, April 29. The young boy is in pre-trial detention. His mother is placed under judicial supervision, prohibited from leaving the department of Indre, prohibited from entering into contact with her son, with the victim’s family and witnesses.

According to the first elements of the investigation, a fight broke out between the two teenagers, Matisse and the suspect, in the Saint-Denis district, in Châteauroux, around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The suspect indicates having received a punch from Matisse.
“He explained that overcome by anger, he went to his building to grab a knife blade, and stabbed the victim several times before fleeing. The minor’s mother, who followed him, in turn slapped the victim”, indicated Céline Visiedo, the public prosecutor of Bourges. The investigation, entrusted to the judicial police of Orléans (Loiret) and the territorial direction of the national police of Indre, continues.
