“No chemicals impacted”
This Tuesday, April 30, 2024, around 6 p.m., a fire broke out in the filters of a smoke treatment chimney at the lead battery recycling plant. “ The fire was quickly contained by factory teams and then by firefighters. », reassures Captain Chamberlan.

The Métal Blanc factory is the only Seveso factory located in the North Ardennes. Established in Bourg-Fidèle since 1968, it employs around fifty people.
