Friday 3, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 May 2024 – the Pontivy equestrian center (Morbihan) in Fontaine Faven will be in the spotlight. It will receive 1,600 riders from all over Brittany to compete in the regional show jumping championship, club category.

Show jumping consists of completing a course of obstacles without fault, within a given time, without overturning any bars and without refusal or evasion. (workaround) in front of an obstacle. This discipline requires technique and agility describe the members of the Pontivy equestrian center.

A show competition

With falling bars and a timer that speaks, the discipline provides a great spectacle, accessible to beginners.

During the three days, two courses of 11 to 12 obstacles will be installed on the two tracks of the Pondi Équitation club and 20 events will be organized, individually or in teams.

A jury will observe the passages and a speaker will host the event. As for the riders, the results obtained will count double to qualify for the French championships.

On May 3, 4 and 5, from 8 a.m., at the Fontaine Faven equestrian center, between Malguénac and Pontivy. Free admission. Catering on site.
