British police are convinced that the new remains found, as well as the trunk found at the beginning of April, belong to the same person.
A case that fascinates across the Channel. After the discovery of a human body on April 4 in the Kersal Dale nature reserve, near Manchester, the British authorities announced at a press conference on Sunday April 28 that new human remains had been discovered at two other places located around the city.
Ongoing investigation
As explained The Guardian, investigators are now certain that the remains found, as well as the torso, belong to the same person. If the formal identification has not yet been made official, it would be a man in his sixties, whose family has been informed.
During the press conference held on Sunday, the police assured that the victim would have lived with the two men who were arrested last week. They are still being held in detention following their arrest on suspicion of murder.
For his part, Detective Superintendent Lewis Hughes said they were examining four crime scenes in Salford and the Greater Manchester area.
