PvP fans have had choices for years and Ubisoft added one more recently with XDefiant. The second season has started.
For this free to play PvP shooter, fans will be able to have something new to grind despite rumors of abandonment by the publisher. Available on PS5, XSX/S and PC, XDefiant allows factions inspired by Ubisoft franchises to clash.
Season 2 brings the following:
- 1 new faction – The Ravagers
- 3 new cards
- Waterfront (available today)
- Signal (coming during the season)
- Air & Space (coming during the season)
- 3 free weapons in the Battle Pass
- The PP19 submachine gun
- The SPAS-12 shotgun
- The L86 machine gun
- 1 new arena mode
- Search and Destroy (coming during the season)
- Private matches (in beta)

Furthermore, the developers plan to add an event called Air & Space with the map of the same name. Other in-game events will also be added during this second season.
XDefiant is available on PS5, XSX/S and PC.
