We suspected it a little, but the news is now confirmed: Derrick Rose is saying goodbye to the NBA. The youngest MVP in history retiring is a bit of a page turning. Before being battered by injuries, D-Rose was a fantastic player, far from this troubled soul at the end of his career. So for the thrill, we suggest you relive the biggest highlights of the 2010-2011 version of the point guard.

It could have been one of the greatest stories the NBA had to offer. Unfortunately, fate decided otherwise and Derrick Rose will forever remain one of the greatest what if of the history of the orange ball. An exceptional player, with athletic qualities never before seen in a leader. Ultra-explosive, spectacular, clutchsuperlatives fail to describe D-Rose during his prime. A prime that we may have never really been able to see, as the boy was too strong, too early. Coming off an exceptional 2010-2011 season, the point guard Bulls is even named MVP. The youngest in history, still today, at only 22 years old. All this, against monsters like Dirk Nowitzki, LeBron James or even Dwayne Wade, also in their best periods. That’s to say the crack. But no nostalgia, let’s rather thank Derrick for having offered us so much spectacle. And for that, what better than a small compilation of the biggest highlights of the leader version 10-11. On the program, layups stunning, big shots well clutchslightning accelerations and obviously dunks at very, very high altitude. So put on your best retro Bulls jersey, put on your old “adiZero Rose 1” shoes, and let’s go for 13 minutes of Derrick Rose at the top of his game.
