The National Exhibition Center: Visual Art to Share

Through visual art, the CNE offers temporary exhibitions on contemporary and modern art, history and science. It acts as a platform for the dissemination of works by established, emerging and emerging artists or prestigious collections.

The Centre is also committed to promoting the artistic community to which it belongs, by bringing together artists and the regional community around exhibitions, events and cultural activities aimed at various audiences. Always with the intention of offering a professional space for showcasing the work of creators to see sensitive and meaningful encounters emerge between the works and the public.

Firmly rooted in Saguenay for over 40 years, the CNE is considered an essential place for the promotion of visual arts, thus contributing to the enrichment of culture in the region.

For the coming years, the National Exhibition Centre wants to stand out even more by offering a rich and bold program. This will consist of temporary exhibitions, showcasing a multitude of aesthetics and forms and embodying a diversity of generations and points of view on art. The CNE will also pursue one of its objectives: to be a place of exchange around societal issues by establishing an ongoing dialogue with its environment and community.

It is by presenting a rich and diverse program that the organization wishes to stand the test of time and continue its development with this desire to share visual art with as many people as possible!
