It was 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 when police officers were called to intervene on rue de Verdun in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime), following a fight. Two men were arrested, in possession of a machete and an axe. Finally, a arsenal was found at the home of one of the two attackers.
A machete blow
The police arrived on the scene and quickly made contact with the victim, a man, who said he had had a dispute with two other individuals.
He explains that two men would have it threatened with a machete and an axe in order to make him leave the building he was in.
The victim also reports that one of the attackers allegedly brought her a machete blow, “with the blunt side of the weapon.”
Two crossbows, an air rifle, a revolver…
The police questioned the two accused, who showed up empty-handed and only mentioned a verbal dispute. “They ended up admitting that the machete and the axe were hidden in the building,” our judicial source emphasizes.
A search was carried out in the apartment of one of the attackers, who lives in the building. The police discovered “two crossbows, an airsoft weapon, an air rifle and a 44 caliber black powder revolver,” our source lists.
The two individuals are being held in police custody for intentional violence with a weapon.
