This Tuesday in Rennes, a case within the case was judged. Three Georgians were sentenced, to terms ranging from one year to four years in prison. Two were present, Giorgi Z. 34 years old and Severiani T., 49, prosecuted for failure to prevent a crime, extortion and fraud. The facts were reclassified as attempted blackmail. .

He must also pay nearly €70,000 in moral damages to Magali Blandin’s parents, sister and four children. Severiani, in addition to the two years in prison, is sentenced to a ban from French territory for five years.
