Descriptive text here

After the Columérin success in the derby against Sapiac (24-20), Fabien Perrin agreed to deliver his analysis and his view on the situation of , a stone’s throw from the top 6.

You won this derby against , but with Vici’s red card in the 20th minute you could have “killed” the match earlier. What is your analysis?

It’s never easy to face a team that is playing for its survival. We were caught in the rucks, in all the compartments, and certainly in the desire. Which bothered us when it came to putting our game together. We thought that the red card would resolve the situation a little, but that was never really the case. Except at the start of the second period, but then we died down a bit. We come away with the victory, and that’s what we remember. But it wasn’t a great match.

Does the loss of the offensive bonus constitute a regret?

Honestly, why?

For the top 6…

I want to, but personally, I don’t really believe in it. So a regret? Yes and no.

Is this what explains the relaxation at the end of the match?

No I do not think so. Already, there was a lot of damage, we had to significantly reshuffle the back lines, with Béchu who moved to the center. Several changes have been made. It didn’t go too bad but we didn’t manage to put our game together. We still wanted to finish well because it’s a derby, in front of our audience. We didn’t want to lose him and we held on. There was suspense, but the victory is there.

So it’s not the quest for the final phase that will motivate your end of the season?

I didn’t watch the other matches. After , for me it was over. Afterwards, we must not end up coasting. Personally, it was perhaps my last match (he smiles). In any case, these are potentially the last three matches of my career. In my mind, I mainly wanted to finish as well as possible.
