UTAP announced on Friday February 26 on its official page that the Ministry of Commerce had lowered the price of livestock feed.

The Ministry of Trade and Export Development decided, Friday, April 26, to reduce the prices of locally produced soybeans to 80 dinars per ton and to continue to automatically lower the prices of compound fodder, a decision approved before the start of the month of Ramadan 2024.

It was also decided to accelerate the resolution of all problems that will affect the cost and quality of fodder and the rationalization of the supply process. These decisions were addressed to farmers and all stakeholders in the production and distribution circuits of compound fodder intended for animal feed. These decisions follow the coordination meeting on the fodder sector, devoted to examining the supply situation, prices and means of maintaining control over the cost of fodder, with a view to further supporting the fodder sectors. production and consumer purchasing power as well as maintaining the sustainability of companies active in the sector within the framework of a participatory approach between the different parties in the presence of the different structures concerned. The Ministry also called on all stakeholders to adjust their pricing policies in accordance with these procedures and to exert greater pressure, taking into account the purchasing power of the citizen, as the festival of sacrifice approaches.
