04/24/2024 – 11 films will participate in the short film competition on the Croisette in May and 18 titles appear in the Cinef selection

Bad For A Moment (Mau por um momento) by Daniel Soares

The identity of the 11 short films representing 11 countries which will be in the running for the Palme d’Or at the 77th Cannes Film Festival (from May 14 to 25, 2024) and the 18 school films in the Cinef selection (which include 14 fictions and four animations) has just been revealed. The jury will be chaired by the Belgian actress Lubna Azabalsupported by the French director Marie-Castille Mention-Schaarthe cinema programmer and former general delegate of the Directors’ Fortnight Paolo Morettithe producer and director Claudine Nougaret and the Serbian director Vladimir Perišić.
