From April 22 to 28, 2024, GL Events Equestrian Sport will present the third edition of the Spring of Equestrian Sports in the fabulous setting of the Grand Parquet in Fontainebleau. All the French teams will be present, in all equestrian disciplines, as well as many of the best riders in the world. Sylvie Robert states the program: “ It is a multidisciplinary event. Above all it will be the French championships of the French Equestrian Federation, the Pro Masters. To this we wanted to combine international competitions, which are for the first time this year an international show jumping competition 5 star level, an international dressage competition 5 star level, an international eventing competition 3 star level and an international para dressage competition 3 star level. »
The company GL Events Equestrian Sports is the organizer of this Equestrian Sports Spring. It will also be the service provider for the equestrian and para equestrian events for the Paris 2024 Games. Sylvie Robert sees this event in the Pays de Fontainebleau as a life-size rehearsal: “ We won the tender for the Olympic and Paralympic Games at the Château de Versailles. Therefore, we wanted to do a dress rehearsal, before this major event, of all these disciplines. » The GL Events Group will in fact ensure, on behalf of Paris 2024, the design, planning, installation and management of event and sporting operations within the Versailles site.
This Spring of Equestrian Sports is organized at the Grand Parquet of Fontainebleau. Sylvie Robert introduces us to this special place: “ The Grand Parquet is truly the legendary French site and emblematic of equestrian sports. It has just been largely renovated, with two very large quarries, which have Olympic dimensions. It is the emblematic place where everyone, in the history of eventing and show jumping, has always dreamed of riding. The French championships took place on this field for years. It was truly an event that should not be missed. »
