Saturday April 13, 2024, two sites in the eastern district were mobilized to welcome Blésois, young and old, wishing to improve their living environment by collectively participating in different workshops.
At the Maison des Provinces, a meeting place was given to nature lovers. Manufacture of bird nest boxes, gardening in containers, were on the program to which the LPO (Bird Protection League) contributed. Priscilla, a local resident who came with her daughters Livia and Candice, was delighted with what she had done during the morning. “ It was a first! Cooking, sewing or painting
In the premises of the ALSH Robert-Cartier there was also a certain excitement. First in the cooking workshop where the lunch shared between all the participants was prepared and around sewing machines for making bread bags. Outside, there was no shortage of activities either, decorative paintings on the walls and hopscotch markings on the ground.
Finally, a workshop for the recovery of exterior candelabras attracted more than one person. Having become obsolete since public lighting was provided by LED lamps, these metal lighting supports, dismantled, cleaned and repainted, will have a new life.
