Soccer Canada said Tajon Buchanan suffered a lower leg injury.

Forward Tajon Buchanan suffered the injury during a training session Tuesday ahead of Canada’s Copa America quarterfinal match with Venezuela.
Soccer Canada said the Inter Milan player suffered a lower leg injury.
Although the severity of the injury is still unknown, the training session was cancelled after Buchanan was taken away by ambulance.
Soccer Canada said in a short statement that he was admitted to an area hospital for further testing and treatment.
The 25-year-old Brampton, Ont., native has 40 caps for the national team and has played in each of the country’s three Copa América games so far this year.
Canada will face Venezuela on Friday at theAT&T Stadium from Dallas, home of the Cowboys in the NFL.
