Samsung will present its new Galaxy S25 range on January 22, with at least three new models to discover. The series once again places emphasis on artificial intelligence this year and the Android Headlines site managed to get its hands on a promotional video from Samsung. Rather than the new features of the range, it focuses on the new features of the One UI 7 overlay. Unfortunately, we cannot show you this video which has been deleted at the request of the manufacturer.
Improved “Nightography” video, Audio Eraser, Gemini… AI will put on a show on the Galaxy S25
However, our colleagues have had time to analyze it and see that the Galaxy S25 will include new functions. The video featured the future flagship of the range, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, with One UI 7 and notably presented an improved night mode. Called “Nightography”, the function promises significant improvements for capturing videos when light is lacking. Lasting about a minute and a half, the video is labeled Galaxy AI and invites users to « commence[r] the day more intelligently » thanks to the redesigned interface of One UI 7. The update allows, from the lock screen, access to various information using the “Now Brief” function which could be translated as “Summary » or even “The essential” in French. In fact, it displays basic information such as the weather or data related to your sleep.
Partner of Google, Samsung also places Gemini at the center of priorities and highlights its presence on the future Galaxy S25 Ultra. An unsurprising choice given that a large part of the Galaxy AI functions rely on the American giant's technology. Another important new feature is the Audio Eraser, which allows you to remove unwanted sounds from video recordings and which Google has already popularized on its Pixel smartphones.
Three smartphones from the back… and a fourth from the front?
Samsung's video ends with an overview of the new range in full, with three models visible from the back and one from the front. Contrary to what one might imagine, this would not be the Galaxy S25 Slim that the South Korean manufacturer could launch later this year. It is more likely to be the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, the flagship model of the series which will launch on January 22. The position of the speaker tends to confirm that it is indeed the Ultra model which appears from the back and front in the video.
