Peter Bosz ‘acts’ to be happy with a point but is not happy in conversation with ESPN

The best thing that could have happened to PSV in the past ten years, so to speak, is the appointment of Peter Bosz as head coach of the club.

PSV benefits greatly from the craftsmanship of the trainer from Apeldoorn, who and his staff lift the entire club to a higher level. There is always a bad match, even in extremely successful seasons. If we have to point out one small point of criticism, it is the attitude of the trainer in discussions with the media after matches. This was also the case on Saturday evening, in which Bosz tried to appear cheerful and cheerful by saying ‘I am very happy with a point’ in conversation with ESPN.

That statement certainly did not seem to have been played or acted, but the rest of the interview was still difficult, as Peter Bosz can occasionally be very stiff and short and can communicate. Bosz is no stranger to a short ‘yes’ or ‘no’, and then waiting for the reporter to ask a new question. Those moments, sometimes a tiny second but sometimes two to three seconds, can be called quite abrasive.

Bosz’s team did not start the new year strongly. PSV awaits its next match on Tuesday, when Excelsior Rotterdam will play against PSV in the Philips Stadium in the context of the KNVB Cup. PSV resumes the Eredivisie next weekend with an away match. The kick-off against PEC Zwolle will take place on Saturday at 4:30 PM.
