At the municipal baths of , the slots reserved for women naturists are temporarily closed: News

Created three years ago, the naturist time slots exclusively reserved for women at the municipal baths are the scene of regular incidents. After the attack on a lifeguard on January 5, the director decided to suspend these slots.

This is one attack too many at the municipal baths of Strasbourg: as reported The Parisianon January 5, a lifeguard was attacked by a client who, refusing to leave when the session was coming to an end, pushed her against a wall. This act of incivility follows numerous others that have occurred over the past three years at the municipal baths of Strasbourg and the opening of two-hour naturist slots dedicated to women. The director of the establishment, Juan Negrillo, therefore made the decision to close them, at least temporarily, until the beginning of February. “Our employee is shocked he explained, I will always prioritize the well-being of our employees over that of customers, hence my decision to suspend these slots“.

Minors fraudulently access the pools

Verbal or physical attacks are not the only cause. According to Juan Negrillo, other facts are likely to justify his decision: the use of black soap “which blocks the pipes“, but also, more seriously, the age of certain customers. While naturist slots are prohibited for those under 16, it is not uncommon for adults “give their access badges to minors who have entered fraudulently” deplores the director. It also happens that women in swimsuits come to swim during these sessions while in , the law stipulates that single-sex time slots can only be established to preserve nudity.

On Wednesday January 15, an internal meeting will be held to determine if increased security conditions can allow the reopening of these naturist slots.
