10 years already. On January 7, France paid tribute to the 12 victims murdered by Islamist militants in the offices of Charlie Hebdonear Place de la Bastille, in Paris. Five designers, three journalists, two police officers, a maintenance worker and a visitor lost their lives in this terrible attack claimed by the Al-Qaeda organization in Yemen.
Several events and demonstrations organized across France marked the day of January 7, 2025. At the precise time of the attack, several officials, including Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte, François Hollande and the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, respected one minute of silence in front of the former newspaper premises. At the same time, wreaths were laid in other large cities, including Limoges and Toulouse.

Following the celebrations, Sud Radio received Angélique Angarni-Filopon. Miss France 2025 was notably questioned about the terrible attacks that occurred a decade ago.
