Kylian Mbappé gave an interview to the show Clique on Canal +, Sunday December 8. An interview in which the Real Madrid player reveals several secrets about the events he experienced this year.
Kylian Mbappé is undoubtedly the biggest French star in the sporting world. His every move is scrutinized. So, to answer questions about him, the young footballer went to the set of Clique on Canal + to talk about hot topics.
How not to start by talking about his sensational arrival at Real Madrid this summer? By joining Casa Blanca, he fulfilled his childhood dream. On the other hand, the dream seems to turn into a nightmare for the native of Bondy who has had an average start to the season. But for him, nothing alarming: “The culture of a country can be learned, that’s what I’m doing. The day of my presentation, I placed a lot of emphasis on adaptation in the team and the club“, he explains. Before adding: “I had tough battles to fight, sporting disappointments. I had times when I was tiredhe assures, but we are not in depression.“
From a more personal point of view, the French striker was calm regarding the rape complaint filed against him during his trip to Stockholm in Sweden: “I was surprised” he confides. “These are things that come into your life like that, without seeing them coming. I received nothing, no summons, nothing. I'm not concerned. It's just incomprehension, it didn't weigh on me as I don't feel concerned.” A subject which allowed us to move on to the love life of the former Parisian and how to be in a relationship with his notoriety: “You can have it all, it requires adaptations. I can't come and play here and play the unfortunate guy. You have to readjust your life to have peace“, he replied and confirms “that he has been in love before, I hope I will be again.”
Of the “I love you neither” with PSG and EDF
Kylian Mbappé has had tense periods with PSG and the French team recently. His departure from the capital club ended with a bang. Between the disenchantment of supporters and legal problems with the president, everything is not looking good but the French international seems to have turned the page: “Nasser Al-Khelaifi never let me go, I left on my own. But I wish them the best. I hope one day they will win the Champions League. The supporters, the people who suffer every day there, they deserve a little happiness. But not now, because I have to win it!“
With the Blues, the relationship remains intact according to him despite the numerous criticisms greater than those experienced at PSG: “My love of the France team has not changed. At club level, I have never forgiven a tenth of what was done to me in the France team.” And this, even if the understanding with Didier Deschamps is not in good shape at the moment, in particular because of the summons to the rallies in September, October and November. The next meeting with the EDF risk of being animated.
