Road axes likely to be subject to significant slowdowns from 4 a.m., due to the circulation of taxi convoys coming from neighboring departments towards Lyon to reach blockage points:
– Highway A7 from the Vienne-Reventin toll barrier,
– Highway A43 from the Saint-Quentin-Fallavier barrier,
– Highway A42 from Ambérieu-en-Bugey,
– Highway A47 and national road 88 from Saint-Etienne, Montbrison and Haute-Loire,
– Highway A89 coming from Roanne,
Roads impacted from 5 a.m.
From 5 a.m. this Monday, December 2, the following points are likely to be the subject of a blocking point around the Lyon metropolitan area:
– A43near Saint-Priest – Porte des Alpes;
– Exchanger A7/A450 ;
– A7at the interchange with the southern urban boulevard (D301);
– M6, at the Valvert interchange (Tassin-la-Demi-Lune);
– Islands node interchange (A42 – A46 – Eastern ring road) ;
During the day, taxis are expected to reach Place Bellecour in Lyon, causing disruptions on their route and in the surrounding area.
The prefect of Isère implements traffic restriction measures
– From 5 a.m., on the highway A43 to the right of broadcaster no. 5 of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, exit ramps 5.3 and 5.5 towards the Chesnes Industrial Zone in the direction of travel Chambéry / Grenoble towards Lyon are closed to traffic;
– From 5 a.m., on the RD75 between the RD75/RD311 and RD75/RD1006 roundabouts in the town of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, traffic is prohibited in both directions.
For motorists coming from Chambery or from Grenoblethey will have to exit at junction no. 6 in Villefontaine, follow the D1006 towards Lyon then the D311 to join the A43 at interchange no. 5 in Chesnes.

Faced with the numerous taxis that will take the road, the Prefect of the Rhône calls on “motorists to postpone their trips, to use public transport or to telework. »
But that's not all. Road users are also called to be extremely vigilant and calm when approaching blockage points. The police will be heavily mobilized for the safety of all.
No lasting blockage accepted
The Rhône prefecture clarified to the organizers of this movement “that no lasting blockage will be accepted. […] And no action to filter access to hospitals will be tolerated by state services. »
Consequently, at least one lane of traffic must be systematically kept free to allow the passage of vehicles likely to be blocked as well as that of emergency vehicles or internal security forces.
In the event of non-compliance with these commitments made by the organizers, the police will intervene to put an end to the disturbance of public order.
