Invited on Saturday, November 30 on RTL in “We are remaking ”, Élodie Gossuin returned to the rumors which surrounded her participation in Miss Universe. The beauty queen almost did not compete in the election, then held by Donald Trump .

A traumatic event for the young girl she was. Elected in 2000, shortly before turning 20, to the title of Miss , Élodie Gossuin represented France in the Miss Universe competition shortly after winning the national crown. An emblematic event for all Misses, which unfortunately for her was marked by harmful rumors about her gender. In fact, Bertrand Lacherie's partner was then accused of being transsexual, which disqualified her from the competition.
