(VIDEO) The strong foul that Pedri suffered and scared all of Spain for a while

The FC Barcelona midfielder, Pedri, suffered a slip and a subsequent stomp that caused multiple gestures of pain, in a match he was playing with his national team (Spain), against Switzerland, a match valid for group 4 of League A in the UEFA Nations League.

Below we detail the play (text taken from Diario Sport):

Minute 34 of an inconsequential match in terms of points and classification (Spain is already in the final phase, a long time ago), and another isolated action in which Pedri was a victim and ended up on the ground, with his hands on his right knee and visible gestures of pain.

In an incident without major incident, Pedri suffered a previous slip that led him to fall on the Heliodoro Rodríguez López grass. Until then, nothing relevant if it weren't for the fact that in the same action, the Swiss player Amdouni ended up running over the Canary Islander and involuntarily stomped on his right knee. Pedri's gestures of obvious pain unleashed concern for a few seconds.

Pedri was slow to react and the presence of the Spanish team's medical services increased suspicions of a larger problem for the Spanish international. In the end, the pain subsided and Pedri returned to the field of play without any symptoms of discomfort in his right knee.”
