SPAIN – Great evils come with great means. The images of desolation which followed the record bad weather in recent weeks in Spain have visibly marked the inhabitants of the south of the country. Who are now using stratagems as ingenious as they are surprising to escape further devastating precipitation.

While the last red alert for the Malaga and Valencia region was lifted this Thursday, November 14, images show a daily life already disrupted by the scenes of chaos observed after the recent floods.

Because some residents are now doing everything they can to avoid seeing their vehicle piled up among dozens of others, as you can see below. Scenes that were captured in Valencia and its surroundings after the floods which left at least 224 dead.

To brave the elements, some have therefore opted for the “D system”. On social networks, these experiments were documented by Spanish Internet users in an attempt to smile and play down the situation. Other vehicles were similarly packed awaiting the passage of the new cold drop, nicknamed “Dana”, as reported by the Spanish media Digital Freedom in a message published on social networks.
