Plenty of clouds and warm through mid-week; changes coming this weekend

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Mostly cloudy & warm heading into Tuesday; tracking a cold front for the end of the week.

  • Monday night: Very mild & humid. Lows in the mid-upper 60s. Areas of fog late.
  • Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. Warm and muggy. Highs in the low-80s.
  • Extended: Cooler temperatures and nicer weather return in time for the weekend.

Mild and humid this evening across NCFL.

Low temperatures will drop into the mid-upper 60s.

Areas of fog will be likely in spots through early Tuesday morning.

Warm and humid conditions will persist into Tuesday.

Highs will still top out in the low-80s under mostly cloudy skies.

Isolated rain chances will remain at around 10-20% through Thursday.

A fall-like cold front arrives later this week and in time for the weekend.

Expect sunnier skies with highs in the 70s and lows returning to the 50s.

TROPICS: New Area of Interest

The hurricane season just won’t go away quietly.

Another system is likely to form in the Caribbean over the next 7 days or so.

I’ll keep an eye on it for you, but there’s nothing to really get worked up over at this time.
