Notice to all those who decided to enjoy the Champs-Élysées on this public holiday Monday. Due to the November 11 commemorations, the Paris Police Headquarters installed a security perimeter and closed several metro stations and one RER station.

Closing at dawn and reopening subject to authorization

The RATP indicates to Paris news that the stations affected by these closures would be affected as soon as the network was put into service.

Stations closed this Monday:

• Boissière (line 6),
• Champs-Élysées – Clemenceau (lines 1 and 13),
• Charles de Gaulle – Étoile (lines 1, 2 and 6 and RER A),
• Franklin D. Roosevelt (lines 1 and 9),
• George V (line 1),
• Kléber (line 6).

In all these stations, the connection will not be specified. They will only reopen with “authorization from the police headquarters”, adds the RATP.

Restrictions in the Champs-Élysées sector

For this day of commemorations, two protective perimeters were installed: around the Arc de Triomphe and the bottom of the Champs-Élysées, around the Élysée. In these two areas which will be active from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.access and movement of people will be subject to controls.

Finally, in certain streets in the 7th, 8th, 16th and 17th arrondissementsparking will be modified.
