Halftime hot takes: Celtics had no answer for The Greek Freak

The Celtics are playing a basketball game in Milwaukee, they trail 69-58 at the half, and you need the takes.

I am not going to make you wait for them.

The Celtics need to have better energy in the 2nd half

Milwaukee was hot from 3, they hit some ridiculous shots.

Nothing Boston can do about shots like that.

However, Milwaukee got a lot better shots that Boston did in the first half and was way more efficient on both ends.

The Celtics defense stood out in particular as Milwaukee had an offensive rating of 135.3 in the first half, according to Cleaning the Glass.

Milwaukee had a lot of open shots, the Celtics need to clean that up if they want to win this game

The Celtics should stop starting games down 16-2

Call me crazy but starting the game down 14 points does not maximize the Celtics ability to win a basketball game. I would much rather they go up 16-2.

The Bucks were red hot to start the game, starting the contest 5-5, while the Celtics were 1-15.

So not an ideal way to start a game but I think the Celtics will clean it up in future games.

Giannis Antetokounmpo remains incredible at basketball

27 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the first half tells you everything you need to know about just how great Antetokounmpo really is.

His ability get to the basket with force and just move guys out of the way is sick.

And then he also jumps like this to catch an alley-oop.

I mean that is simply amazing by The Greek Freak.

Giannis also got Jaylen on a fake high-five after he elbowed him in the face.

It is a cold world out there.

Payton Pritchard is having another great game

17 points on 6/9 from the field and 5.8 from 3 point range, Payton Pritchard had another huge half.

He has taken a real leap this season, Pritchard has done a lot more than just hit threes this season.

He has finished around the cup a lot better, gotten to the line and passed at a higher level than he has in the past.

Pritchard is just a really good player.
