Mylène Farmer was entitled to a standing ovation from her fans on Thursday November 7. After her last triumphant Nevermore tour, linked to her album L'Emprise, and her three dates at the Stade de France in September and October, the interpreter of “Disenchanted” came to ignite the Parisian cinema.
The Franco-Canadian star gave his fans a big surprise by making an unexpected appearance at the Grand Rex cinema (2nd arrondissement of Paris), just after the screening of the event film “Nevermore”, a capture of his tour.
“Queen Mylène Farmer is here! », exclaims the Grand Rex on his X account. And as illustrated by several videos broadcast on social networks, the surprise had its effect. We see the public exult at the sight of their idol coming to greet them from a balcony of the Parisian projection room.
The film was shown in nearly 500 cinemas across France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg during an exceptional evening this Thursday. The singer with flamboyant hair had given a total of 14 concerts in stadiums for her Nevermore 2023 tour.
The recording for this film by François Hanss, director of several of the artist's clips, was produced during Mylène Farmer's concerts at the Groupama Stadium in Lyon on June 23 and 24, 2023. The latest collaboration between the director and the singer, Mylène Farmer Live 2019 had already brought together 155,000 spectators.
During her last concert at the Stade de France, Mylène Farmer, aged 61, wanted to reassure her thousands of fans. Although she had not been on stage for ten years, numerous rumors made her audience fear that this was the diva's last tour. A fear quickly assuaged when, at the end of his last show on October 1, the word Nevermore appeared on the screens, before transforming into a simple “more”.
